Program Leader for Recreation and Travel

Be a vital part of Between Friends as a Program Leader for our W.E.S.O.A.R! and Adventurers programs! You’ll deliver impactful recreation experiences to enhance participants' lives. This position focuses on creating inclusive opportunities through weekend programs and travel outings for individuals with disabilities. You will ensure safety and enjoyment while leading diverse activities, and your contributions will be key in building connections and fostering independence among participants. With a commitment to our community, you'll grow personally and professionally in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement safe, enjoyable programming for participants
• Check in on the well-being of up to 8 members
• Collaborate effectively with peers and volunteers
• Adjust activities to accommodate varied needs
• Report any concerns to the team promptly

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Personal cell phone available for program use
• Skills in assisting with mobility and personal care
• Completion of screening and reference checks
