As a Project Manager within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Deep Foundations business unit. By leading large-scale construction and infrastructure projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will work closely with our client groups and subcontractors and act as an integral part of our project team.
What you will do
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients to achieve the project goals and vision.
- Support your project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met.
- Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage and respect project budgets, costs and associated purchasing.
- Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members.
- Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized.
- Take pride in compiling and completing companywide project reports.
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project.
Requirements
- 8 years’ experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
- University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational prowess, influential abilities, adept problem‑solving, ensuring project success amidst diverse challenges.
- Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, as well as building codes and associated legislation.
- Be a champion and role model for quality and all health and safety best practices.
- Experienced working with scheduling software; knowledge and experience working with P6 considered a strong asset.
