Join MacLean Engineering as an Electrical Assembly Lead Hand, where your leadership and technical skills will drive production success in a dynamic factory setting. Take charge of safety and productivity while mentoring your team daily. As a Full-time Electrical Assembly Lead Hand, you will support the Production Supervisor and ensure effective labor utilization and compliance with safety standards. You’ll have the opportunity to lead training sessions, address engineering issues, and monitor workflow to enhance team performance. Your commitment to safety culture will set the tone for your peers. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor work center priorities and assignment of tasks
- Foster a safe working environment and ensure compliance
- Mentor apprentices and ensure training standards are met
- Evaluate equipment and tools for safety
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting
- High School Diploma or equivalent necessary
- 5+ years in heavy equipment manufacturing
- 1-2 years in a leadership role preferred
- Skilled Trade Certificates are an asset
- Proficient in Office and application software
