Territory Sales Representative

Job Responsibility:

Douglas Lake Equipment / Avenue Machinery Corp. (DLEAMC) is a leading dealership specializing in farm and construction equipment, proudly representing trusted brands such as Kubota, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Kobelco .

We are seeking a AG Territory Sales Representative to serve agricultural customers in the Vernon area. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this individual will play a key role in driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and representing our dealership with professionalism and integrity. This role requires strong communication, product knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with internal departments on promotions and incentives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Proactively identify and pursue new business through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Serve as the main point of contact to ensure client satisfaction.

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Promote products and services to current and prospective customers.
• Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate and close deals aligned with company objectives.

Market & Product Knowledge

• Stay informed about product lines, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• Understand client operations and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and service teams to support customer needs and promotional campaigns.
• Provide client feedback to help improve offerings and services.

Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate CRM records of activities, pipeline updates, and customer interactions.
• Submit regular forecasts, activity summaries, and performance reports.

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a positive customer experience to promote retention and referrals.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or equipment industry.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

• Quick to learn and communicate technical product information.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
• High integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
