Marina Fuel Dock Attendant

Job Responsibility:

Tall Ships Landing is a premier waterfront destination, providing top-tier services for boaters and visitors to Brockville. Our marina offers fuel services, seasonal and transient dockage, and exclusive amenities at the TSL Club, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. We are looking for friendly and hardworking individuals to join our team for the upcoming boating season!

Job Summary:

As a Fuel Dock Attendant , you will be a key part of our marina operations, ensuring boaters receive exceptional service while refueling and docking. This role involves assisting customers with fueling their vessels, maintaining a clean and safe dock area, and providing helpful information about the marina and local attractions. If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with people, and being around the water, this is the perfect summer job for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist boaters with fueling their vessels safely and efficiently
• Operate fuel pumps, handle transactions, and provide accurate receipts
• Ensure proper fuel handling procedures and compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of the fuel dock, including trash disposal and spill prevention
• Provide information to guests regarding marina services, local attractions.
• Assist with docking and securing boats as needed
• Monitor fuel levels and report inventory needs to management
• Perform light maintenance and upkeep of the fuel dock and surrounding area, Painting, Weed control.
• Follow all environmental and safety procedures to prevent spills and hazards

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable working around water and boats
• Basic math skills for handling cash and credit card transactions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Previous marina, fueling, or boating experience is a plus but not required
• Clean and neat in appearance

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
