Primary Care Paramedic with MHS-West

Join MHS-West as a Primary Care Paramedic committed to enhancing community health in Alberta. Your expertise in emergency response and patient care will be vital in ensuring safety during each shift. MHS-West is looking for a permanent Primary Care Paramedic to deliver optimal care following Alberta's guidelines. This role requires a focused commitment to patient safety, alongside responsibilities such as vehicle operation and maintenance. You will also engage in public training programs and document patient interactions to enhance service effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver optimal patient care per Alberta competency guidelines
• Safely operate MHS-West vehicles according to regulations
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in readiness
• Document all patient interactions and care assessments
• Participate in public awareness programs and training Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2, or 4
• Current Alberta College of Paramedics registration
• Completion of Alberta Health Services MCPs
• Certified in CPR and holds FARE Certificate Make a lasting impact on community health and patient care as a Primary Care Paramedic with MHS-West.
