Shift: 40 hours/week - Flexibility required for various shifts

Pay Rate: $37.95/hour

Location: 62 Vulcan St. Etobicoke, ON M9W 1L2

Description

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Shift: 40h/week on a FLOAT schedule - shift hours will change based on business needs. Candidate must be willing and open to work on different shifts as needed

Pay-rate: $37.95 per hour

Requirements: 3 years of AZ license, clear driver abstract

The Linehaul Driver, Pickup & Delivery drives to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.

Responsibilities

Drive to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements. 
Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch
Pick up, deliver, and load/unload freight at customer locations
Scan freight upon pickup and delivery
Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor - 20-minute pre-trip, 15-minute post-trip; trailer – 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)

Experience

Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record
3 years of Class A driving experience
