Senior Electrical Engineer Water Infrastructure

Design water and wastewater electrical systems with WSP in Thornhill, applying power distribution expertise and leading multidisciplinary project delivery.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead engineering design for critical water and wastewater infrastructure. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with design teams, clients, consultants, contractors, utilities, manufacturers, and suppliers. Your work will include low- and medium-voltage systems, control systems, communication networks, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.Key Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems for water and wastewater facilitiesPrepare proposals, technical memoranda, reports, and specificationsCoordinate projects with clients, consultants, contractors, and utilitiesPerform power studies, site surveys, and condition assessmentsReview construction documents, budgets, schedules, and standards complianceRequirements:
10+ years of industrial electrical consulting design experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical EngineeringOntario P.Eng designation with PEOExpertise with low- and medium-voltage electrical systemsProficiency in ETAP, SKM, or EasyPowerBring water infrastructure design, power studies, and project leadership expertise to WSP’s Thornhill electrical engineering team.
