Welder-Fitter Scheltema Trailer Manufacturing Inc. Location 925 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, ON Salary 25.00 to 32.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 42.5 hours per week Full time Day, 07:00 to 16:00 Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: Experience an asset Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Interpret welding process specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products Weld or bolt sections together Lay out reference points and patterns Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures Install fabricated components in final product Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements Determine materials required Experience and specialization Welding techniques MIG Equipment and machinery experience Grinder Cutting torches Area of specialization Structural metal or steel Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Welding helmet Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Organized Team player Reliability Until: 2026-11-17
