Talent Consultant (Sept-Iles)

About the Role

Adecco is hiring a Talent Consultant for a local branch. The consultant will create an exceptional customer and candidate experience, placing candidates from a qualified pool and ensuring continued employment for associates and a skilled match for clients.

The role requires driving results, expanding business, increasing wallet share, reducing associate attrition, and fostering re‑employment. It is a hybrid role with work-from-home and in‑office responsibilities, including training and weekly in‑office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with passive and active candidates and associates to increase wellness, retention and employability.
• Partner with Central Delivery teams to build and maintain a diverse candidate pipeline addressing client needs; network extensively and conduct grassroot efforts as required.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to address client requirements and issues.
• Assess candidates to ensure qualification match and overall compatibility with client requirements.
• Coaching candidates for success in client interviews and serve as an advocate for candidates with clients.
• Provide associates with feedback, coaching, conflict management and counselling for successful on‑the‑job performance.
• Counsel associates on professional goal development, provide training plans (up‑skill & re‑skill) to improve employability and retain/re‑employ associates at assignment end.
• Develop relationships with clients and business leaders to foster business growth and understand unique requirements; partner with existing clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs.
• Grow wallet share on a portfolio of small to medium local clients; build knowledge of target industries, clients, roles, market share and competition.
• Maintain retention of individual clients while maximizing fill rate, time to fill and ensuring high satisfaction scores.
• Maintain general knowledge of Adecco’s service portfolio to price and sell services (temporary, conversions and permanent placement).

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in a related field or equivalent years of progressive responsibility.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of related experience, ideally in a service‑oriented environment.
• Experience recruiting and/or working within the Human Resources solutions industry is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to influence and motivate others.
• Superior organizational skills; able to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks and prioritize new tasks as required.
• Proactive problem‑solving ability, recommending and implementing creative solutions.
• Consistently high levels of customer service performance and ability to identify opportunities for new business.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Salary & Additional Information

Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per annum.
