As a Sales Associate at Pet Valu, you will engage with customers, leveraging your experience to recommend the best products for their pets. This role entails handling sales transactions while also preparing merchandise, maintaining store appearance, and assisting with deliveries. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the POS system for customer transactions
• Prepare merchandise orders and handle banking paperwork
• Stock small items in the sales area of the store
• Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping and dusting
• Assist in unloading deliveries of pet supplies and food
Requirements:
• Previous retail or customer service experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Reliable transportation to the store
• Availability to work weekends and evenings
