Job Title : Warehouse Picker & Packer
Location : Richmond Hill, Ontario
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Hourly Rate : $17.60 per hour
This role supports order picking and packing operations at a garment distribution centre in Richmond Hill. The work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires standing for extended periods while accurately preparing items for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders while standing for the duration of your shift.
- Verify the details of orders, ensuring correct quantities and items are selected.
- Follow the pick list to locate items and fulfill orders based on set guidelines.
- Complete SKU details for each order.
- Fold and pack garments into shipping cartons or envelopes.
- Record quantities picked for each item accurately.
- Comply with all company rules and guidelines.
- Keep the workspace tidy by disposing of empty boxes, plastics, and other waste.
- Reorganize and fold garments in picking areas before finishing the shift.
- Secure cartons with tape to ensure proper sealing.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and follow instructions.
- Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in a warehouse is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort using 5-step ladders.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and occasionally climbing 3 flights of stairs.
