Senior Engineering Manager Branch Applications

Lead branch application support and development at TD in Toronto, focusing on application availability, performance, and problem resolution. This role works primarily on-site.As Senior Engineering Manager, you will oversee branch servicing applications supporting frontline colleagues and customers’ day-to-day banking needs. You will manage application support, development, change coordination, and relationships with technology partners. The position requires strong analytical skills, communication, and development management experience.Key Responsibilities:
Monitor application health reports, alerts, and operating system logsInvestigate issues, perform impact analysis, and implement corrective changesReview high-risk changes and coordinate application-specific concernsAdminister on-call rotations, equipment, and coverage schedulesManage vendors, team meetings, performance reviews, and continuity testingRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related fieldMinimum 10 years delivering complex technology projectsHands-on experience or prior role as Development ManagerApplication support, development management, and modernization experienceGitHub, Copilot, scheduling, and monitoring tools experienceBring engineering leadership, application support, and problem-solving expertise to TD’s branch servicing technology in Toronto.
