Become a key player at Photonic as a Quantum OS System Architect. Oversee the design of hardware and software infrastructure vital for quantum circuits at runtime in a collaborative environment. As a Quantum OS System Architect, you will report to the Chief Quantum Officer and guide the architectural design for a quantum operating system. Your role involves managing distributed runtime control and resource allocation for quantum circuits, integrating hardware and software seamlessly. This position emphasizes innovative thinking and requires proficiency in embedded systems and high-performance computing. Key Responsibilities:
- Design a high-performance quantum operating system architecture
- Define architectural specifications for runtime control subsystems
- Develop scalable API interfaces for system communication
- Optimize performance across Photonic's quantum compute stack
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Over 10 years in embedded system design
- Experience in quantum computing or HPC
- Strong skills in systems programming languages
- Familiarity with RTOS environments and time synchronization
