Work site environment Dusty Work setting Willing to relocate Responsibilities: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brakes Endorsement Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Type of trucking and equipment Dry bulk Refrigerated Tractor-trailer Communication systems experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Additional information Security and safety Valid passport Drug test Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Willing to travel for extended periods Willing to travel overnight Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Large workload Physically demanding Repetitive Sitting Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Hardworking Benefits Other benefits Free parking available Until: 2026-05-13
