Senior Design Engineer at Multimatic

Join Multimatic as a Senior Design Engineer in Markham, Ontario, focusing on complex systems integration and vehicle development. Collaborate with a dynamic team to drive high-performance projects while embracing innovation.
This position is aimed at experienced engineers with over 8 years in mission-critical applications. At Multimatic Technical Centre, you will leverage your skills in electromechanical integration, advanced lightweight structural design, and effective stakeholder communication. Your role will deeply influence R&D activities in an advanced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct systems integration trade-off studies for requirements
• Derive and manage subsystem requirements based on vehicle specs
• Recommend and lead vehicle-level testing for verification
• Design components independently using CATIA or NX
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years in relevant hardware development
• Degree in mechatronics, mechanical, or automotive engineering
• Expert knowledge in GD&T and precision machining design
• Familiarity with rotating machinery and vehicle dynamics
• Proven track record in leadership and communication
