What's the opportunity? 

This role focuses on building and optimizing local development environments using Cobra CLI and Kind. You will develop CLI tools, manage local Kubernetes clusters, and streamline the developer experience to ensure smooth integration with cloud-based workflows.  

What will you do? 

• Work closely with product and delivery teams to develop solutions using determined stack on Zafin's SaaS platform  

• Strong ability to articulate key functional and technical capabilities of SaaS solution  

• Work with team members and leads to perform fit-gap analysis exercise to assess business requirements and align them with out of the box capabilities and work closely with cross-functional teams to determine action plan to address gaps  

• Execute on user stories and backlog items, and prepare specifications utilizing agile methodology  

• Prepare key implementation deliverables technical documentation/ specification while supporting code reviews / pull requests and containerized deployment  

• Organize and execute unit and integration tests within and across functional areas  

Mode of Work: Hybrid  

Minimum Requirements  

• Strong skills in Golang, specifically with Cobra CLI for building command-line tools.  

• Experience in writing BFF application using Golang/Java  

• Expertise in Kind (Kubernetes in Docker) for setting up and managing local Kubernetes clusters.  

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.  

• Shell scripting, Kustomize, Helm, and Argo CD for deployment automation.  

• Experience with Azure  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Skilled in using Golang/Cobra CLI to build robust CLI tools tailored for local development environments. We may consider you if you have strong skills in Java too.  

• Proficient in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters using Kind for local testing and development.  

• Experience with Docker for containerizing applications  

• Familiar with GitOps practices using Argo CD to streamline deployments from local environments to staging and production.  

• Experience with pipeline like GitHub actions / Jenkins  

• Able to use shell scripting, Kustomize, and Helm to automate configuration and deployment processes.  

• Knowledgeable in Azure to facilitate seamless transitions from local to cloud environments.

• Expected Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
