As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential, as you will be moving throughout your entire shift, patrolling and monitoring the facility to ensure safety.

Responsibilities For Tactical Security Guard
- Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity and ensure a safe environment.
- Check identification and control access to secure areas.
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
- Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and staff.
- Support the safety and well-being of the facility through proactive monitoring and intervention.
Qualifications For Tactical Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada.
- Previous experience in security or protective services.
- Training in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including individuals in crisis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with external partners.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures, including fire safety and evacuation.
- Additional first aid or mental health crisis training is an asset.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
- First Aid Level C certification required.
- Hold a valid security license.
