Weighing Operator (Day Shift)

Job purpose To transform ingredients into a cohesive, extensible, machinable dough that can be sheeted or laminated into a continuous sheet prior to cutting. Duties and Responsibilities The associate's primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

• Operate mixing equipment
• Communicate any issues with supervisor.
• Follow dough formulation and adds ingredients as specified.
• Follow FIFO and communicate with the line supervisor and shipping for ingredient needs.
• Conduct scaling and loading of ingredients into mixers and ingredient bins.
• Handle Re-work dough.
• Control and communicate dough rest time via batch time report.
• Monitor dough temperature.
• Delivery dough to sheeter dough hoist
• Update enzyme board
• Ensure mixing room and ingredient storage area are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly state always.
• Follow SOP's including daily pre-op procedures and formulas, record keeping.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Working conditions

• Work indoors.
• May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens.
• May work close to others, usually within a few feet.
• Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.

Physical requirements

• Standing involved.
• May repeat the same movement.
• Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
• Ability to bend or twist their body.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
