Columbia View Lodge, located in the scenic community of Trail, BC, is a long-term care residence dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment for our residents. Our philosophy of care focuses on dignity, respect, and quality of life, with programs and services designed to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of those we serve. With its welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community, Columbia View Lodge provides both residents and staff with a caring, home-like setting in the beautiful West Kootenay region, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.
How You Can Make a Difference
Working within a client-centered model, you'll assist residents to/from their programs, lead engaging leisure/recreation therapy activities, and facilitate customized group sessions (social, physical, spiritual, etc.), including one-to-one programs. Your keen observations of resident progress and behavior will contribute valuable insights to the Supervisor/Recreation Therapist, influencing positive changes to existing programs.
Position Details
Enjoy the flexibility of a casual position. Employees in this position are eligible to pursue internal postings for relief or permanent part-time or full-time positions.
