Lead Mechanical Engineer for Data Centers

AECOM

Join AECOM as a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our Data Center team, focusing on delivering cutting-edge solutions in mechanical design across Canada and globally. Your expertise will shape hyperscale and mission-critical facilities. This remote position requires a seasoned professional to enhance our client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering projects. As a technical leader, you’ll mentor emerging engineers while overseeing design and compliance with Canadian standards across various engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical engineering for hyperscale data centers
Serve as primary technical contact for clients
Design HVAC and plumbing systems effectively
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality
Conduct energy modeling and cooling load analyses

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer registration in Canada
Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience
Strong HVAC and plumbing design knowledge
Experience with BIM and digital design platforms

Drive engineering excellence and innovation while supporting AECOM's growth in the Canadian Data Center sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
