Schedules resources and automotive equipment relating to daily operations in support of a funeral home and/or care center. Ensures that adequate coverage is available and scheduled to provide a superior service to client family, while maximizing the full potential use of company human and physical resources in accordance with established budgetary standards.
An opportunity exists for a part-time dispatcher at the Vancouver personal care center.
We are the largest hub in the Greater Vancouver area with 10+ funeral homes.
The Successful Candidate Shall Have The Following Qualifications

- Initiative in the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to make sound and concise decisions
- Must be task oriented with the ability to work alone
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Full commitment to company objectives and policies
- Computer skills are a necessity with the ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
- This position has permanent part-time hours and the days will be Saturday, Sunday and Mondays with the requirement to fill-in for vacation and sick time for the other two permanent employees.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of computers and some software would be an asset
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Good communication skills
Pay
- The pay rate is $25.91 per hour with increases at 6 months and 1 year.
