Clinical Pharmacist

In accordance with Northern Health's vision and values, this position provides pharmacy services to patients across the region. As a member of an interprofessional healthcare team, you will:
- Assess patient needs and recommend individualized treatment plans.
- Act as a primary resource for drug information and education.
- Provide expert consultation and advice to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure the safe, effective, rational, legal, and economical use of medications.
- Maintain workload records and statistics.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy.
- Current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program, or a combination of at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience and advanced education courses.
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
