Destruction Center Specialist – Access

Responsibilities

• Process and destroy all materials delivered to the records center.
• Prepare recycling bins and boxes full of confidential documents that need to be shredded.
• Sort the materials and documents by grade and discard any rubbish.
• Transfer the documents from the recycling bins and boxes into the shredding machine.
• Prepare the shredded documents to be delivered to a recycling vendor.
• Assist Transportation Specialists in loading and unloading company vehicles.
• Perform any other tasks and projects assigned by a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift boxes, recycling bins, and materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse workplace.
• Forklift and/or pick‑lift certification is an asset.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
