About the role

• Operations and Maintenance Oversee powerhouse operations (boilers, steam, water systems, and utilities). Plan shutdowns, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance. Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards. Optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Environmental Management Manage environmental programs (air, water, waste, GHGs). Ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits. Lead audits and regulatory reporting. Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Health & Safety Promoting a strong safety culture. Ensure safe operating procedures are followed. Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop team members. Plan schedules and ensure operational coverage. Ensure required training and certifications.
• Continuous Improvement Identify and lead energy efficiency and emission reduction projects. Track performance standards and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Valid 1st Class Power Engineer certification (mandatory)
• 5–10 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Experience in team leadership and regulatory compliance

Assets

• Higher education in engineering or environmental field
• Knowledge of ISO 14001
• Skills Strong leadership and team engagement
• High level of accountability and attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills

SALARY RANGE IS FROM $92,250 TO $153,750 (ANNUAL) At Diageo certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual incentive payment and stock awards. US-based employees are eligible for healthcare benefits, retirement benefits , short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits and industry leading parental leave, among others.
