Operations Controller for Mining in Vancouver

Join a well-established mining company in downtown Vancouver as an Operations Controller. This role is perfect for a CPA eager to impact financial reporting and operations. Our client is a dynamic, growing mining company seeking an experienced Operations Controller. You will support financial reporting and oversee accounting operations for their Mexican entities. If you have strong IFRS knowledge and thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting and accounting operations
- Support operational leadership with financial insights
- Work closely with the finance team in Mexico
- Contribute to consolidations for the Mexican entities
- Influence business decisions through financial analysis
- Canadian CPA or foreign equivalent with reciprocity
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Canadian experience
- 5+ years of accounting in mining or oil & gas
- Strong IFRS financial reporting experience
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
