As a Daily Operations Lead, you will be a critical part of your Starbucks' success by keeping things going each day with baristas to provide the Starbucks Experience . You play an important role for your team as you are responsible for role modeling our customer service commitment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming store, and confidently running shifts that create the Starbucks Experience.

As a successful candidate for this position, you are a highly self-motivated individual. In this role, you'll be using your leadership expertise to provide the following support:

• Understand the day's plan and ensure the team is working together to make every moment right for customers.
• Promote an atmosphere of engagement and pride in delivering the Starbucks Experience and achieving goals.
• After you or your leader create the plan for the shift, you will lead the team through the day's plan, adjusting in the moment, when necessary.
• Monitors progress towards unit goals and assigns associates to meet those objectives.
• Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and helps manage smooth shift transitions thereafter to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the store team.
• Capture key information from the shift on the Daily Plan in the Daily Records Book.
• Maintains working knowledge of all applicable brand standards, recipes, procedures and protocols, including food safety and customer service, to maximize brand and employee relations.
• Supports on-the-job training for associates, and ensures all associates receive brand compliance training to perform their jobs proficiently.
• Uses judgment and discretion to resolve routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
• Displays a customer comes first attitude by training and holding associates accountable for delivering world-class customer service.
• Anticipate problems and use your resources to confidently and calmly respond.

Required Qualifications:

• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team partners with professional maturity
• Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to work full time hours including variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a restaurant and/or retail setting
• Must be a skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
• Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to travel to Properties

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

• Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
