Software Dev Engineer II, Oracle Database@AWS

Are you passionate about building highly available, scalable database services that empower customers to run Oracle workloads seamlessly in the cloud? The Oracle View email address on ca.talent.com (View email address on ca.talent.com) team is looking for a talented Software Development Engineer II to help design, build, and operate a fully managed Oracle Database service on AWS.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that power the View email address on ca.talent.com service.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, database engineers, and partner teams across AWS.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and drive technical excellence through code reviews, design documents, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar for the team.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
