Summit, a leading commercial insurance firm in Kelowna, seeks a talented Senior Software Engineer. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage complex workstreams and collaborate closely with leadership on architecture and technical approaches. Your contribution will directly enhance the scalability of our proprietary insurance platforms and support innovative features.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive execution and feature development of software platforms
• Own development tasks from architecture to delivery
• Mentor junior engineers to build organizational capacity
• Foster transparent communication and share regular updates
• Audit and iterate on product codebases for sustainability
Requirements:
• 3 to 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven track record of developing features from concept to production
• Exceptional communication skills with non-technical leaders
