Quality Engineer II- BH

Medtronic seeks a Quality Engineer II to support global service and repair operations in Milton, Ontario. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality systems, managing supplier quality, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement across service centers and field operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, and supplier quality teams on compliance and operational objectives
- Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and controls for service and repair operations
- Investigate quality issues, assess risk, and support corrective action implementation
- Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier action requests and corrective preventive actions
- Monitor quality metrics, analyze performance trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or technical field plus 2+ years quality/engineering experience
- Advanced degree in engineering, science, or technical field (any experience level acceptable)
- ISO 13485 lead auditor certification preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 14971 and medical device risk management principles
- Experience in regulated industry, preferably medical devices
- Supplier quality process expertise and CAPA/root cause investigation skills
- Process and equipment validation experience in manufacturing or service environments
Compensation: $77,200 - $96,500
