Expected Start Date: October 11, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Four Directions Community Health Centre City/Town: Regina Department: Home Nursing Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends and Stats Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Home Care Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: Yes Job : Under the direction of the Manager, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to urban and rural Home Care clients within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The home base for this position is 1504 Albert Street Regina. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required
Education
- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered Nurse (RN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in nursing process
- Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
- Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community.
- Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
- Demonstrate communication skills to create positive outcomes/build relationships
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
- Ability to work independently and as a leader of a multidisciplinary team
