What you’ll do

The Junior Investment Analyst supports day-to-day investment portfolio monitoring and administration, including operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance with internal processes. The role also assists with investigating and implementing new investment programs. As an entry-level opportunity in asset management, this position is intended to help newly graduated students build practical investment knowledge and experience.

What you’ll bring

• A degree in business administration, commerce, finance, accounting, economics or a related field plus 1-2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of financial markets and strong computer, mathematical and analytical skills are required. Keen interest in developing a working knowledge of financial markets and investment research.
• Desire to learn about various asset classes and markets.
• Efficient analytical, writing and presentation skills.
• Highly effective organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated attention to detail with a focus in data management and reconciliation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage documentation, records and multiple data sources effectively.
• Ability to work, collaborate and communicate in a professional team environment.
