Who we need

Reporting to a Team Lead, Talent Acquisition we are hiring a Talent Advisor. As our new Talent Advisor, you will manage recruitment for multiple clients and multiple roles simultaneously. You will guide hiring managers through the recruitment process while ensuring candidates have an exceptional experience from first conversation to offer acceptance. You will work across a variety of industries, clients, and role types - from individual contributors to senior leadership positions.

This is an existing vacancy working remotely within Canada in the Eastern time zone.

As an extension of their teams, you will play a direct role in helping them solve complex hiring challenges and build the talent needed to move their missions forward and create meaningful impact.

What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment. You will manage searches from role launch through offer acceptance, including needs analysis, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management. You will ensure searches move forward efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and candidate engagement.
  • Partner with hiring managers. You will build trusted relationships with hiring managers, helping clarify hiring criteria, sharing market insights, and guiding them through recruitment best practices to support strong hiring decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience. You will ensure candidates receive clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and support throughout the recruitment process, acting as their advocate and maintaining our service level commitments to them through the process.
  • Leverage recruitment technology and tools. You will use technology and automation to expand talent reach, streamline workflows, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process.
  • Manage multiple client searches. You will work across multiple clients, industries, and role types simultaneously, maintaining momentum across searches and adapting to different hiring processes and expectations.
  • Use data and insights to guide decisions. You will contribute to weekly recruitment reporting and updates, using market insights and hiring data to inform client conversations and support recruitment strategy.

What you bring:

  • A passion for recruitment. Recruitment experience is helpful but not required. We are open to candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds, including retail leadership, hospitality management, sales, customer success, or other roles that involve relationship-building and problem-solving. 
  • Curiosity and critical thinking. You excel at problem solving, seeking to understand challenges, ask thoughtful questions, and develop practical solutions. You are naturally curious, proactive about researching new ideas, and comfortable learning new technologies, tools, and concepts quickly.
  • Customer focus and relationship building. You care deeply about delivering a great experience for others. You are an active listener who communicates clearly and adapts your approach depending on the situation. You build trust easily, manage expectations well, and can influence senior level stakeholders even when you do not have formal authority.
  • Adaptability and the ability to context switch. You are comfortable working across multiple clients, industries, and role types at the same time. You can quickly understand different hiring needs, adapt to different processes, and maintain momentum across several searches without losing attention to detail.
  • Accountability and strong time management. You take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, balancing multiple timelines, and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
  • A growth mindset and openness to innovation. You are excited to explore new tools, technologies, and ways of working. Whether it is AI-enabled recruiting tools, automation, or improved processes, you are open to experimenting and continuously improving how recruitment is delivered.

  • You will grow your recruiting experience quickly. Our team works with local, national, and global organizations across multiple industries, recruiting for roles ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership and C-suite positions.
  • You will spend 75% of your day on calls. Weekly recruitment update meetings are held with hiring managers to review progress. Candidate interviews are scheduled throughout the day depending on the role and urgency. Internal meetings are intentionally kept to a minimum.

As recruiters, we believe compensation transparency is important. While we do not publish salary ranges publicly, we prioritize open conversations about compensation early in the interview process to ensure alignment.

  2. A virtual interview with the Director of Client Delivery to learn more about your approach to client and project management, how you prioritize communication, and how you adapt to and apply feedback.
  3. A final virtual interview with one of the Co-founders to discuss your interest in joining TalentMinded and your professional goals.
