Occupational Health Safety Consultant Toronto
Board Of Governors of Exhibition Place
Lead with safety as an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario. Shape a safe and compliant workplace through proactive health and safety leadership. As a permanent management role, you will align safety programs with industry best practices. This position involves overseeing health and safety initiatives, mentoring leadership, and conducting policy reviews to ensure compliance. You will play an essential part in risk management and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive leadership and consultancy on safety culture
- Align policies and programs with industry legislation and best practices
- Review and update OH&S Program policies annually
- Monitor health and safety trends and innovations
- Ensure compliance with WSIB and health and safety regulations
- University Degree or College Diploma in health and safety
- Several years of experience in a related role
- Valid full G Class - Ontario driver’s license
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene and OHS methodologies
