Remote Senior Engineer for Compute Platform

In this pivotal role on the Compute Platform team, you will ensure the robustness and efficiency of Coinbase’s infrastructure. Your responsibilities include owning the tooling and automation for Kubernetes cluster management. You will also design workflows that significantly enhance how engineers deploy and manage services through AI integration. Collaborate with security and observability teams to uphold platform integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and operation of compute platform tooling
• Enhance developer workflows and Kubernetes interactions
• Create capabilities for service owners like cron scheduling
• Drive automation to minimize operational burdens
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet performance standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years with Kubernetes or similar platforms
• Extensive experience in AWS and/or GCP
• Strong with CNCF tools such as Helm and ArgoCD
• Proven success applying AI in infrastructure workflows
