Powerline Technicians - Up to $67.56/hr - Timmins, ON
Valard Construction is seeking experienced Powerline Technicians to join their Distribution group in Timmins, Ontario. These professionals will be responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground electrical power distribution systems. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, technically skilled, and committed to mentoring apprentices while supporting a strong team culture. This is a unionized position with competitive hourly wages and benefits provided by CUSW.

What You'll Need
- Journeyperson Powerline Technician (434A or Red Seal) certification
- Experience in the utility construction sector
- Direct power distribution experience
- Experience in energized work, system switching, and underground installations
- Class 4 Rubber Glove experience
- Understanding of construction and maintenance practices for distribution systems
- Ability to read construction prints and electrical schematics
- Valid Driver's Licence and acceptable Driver's Abstract (preference for Commercial Driver's Licence)
- Willingness to join Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW)
