GitLab People Technology Engineer - AI-Driven Focus

Shape the future of People Technology at GitLab as an Engineer specializing in AI-driven systems. Your work will directly affect team efficiency and innovation. As a Lead People Systems Engineer at GitLab, you'll own the development of People system automations, driving the integration of AI into our workflows. This role requires strong coding skills in Ruby and experience with automation platforms to ensure seamless operations. Collaborate closely with teams across the organization to enhance system reliability and user experience. Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain automations across Workday and Google Cloud
Develop robust integrations with Slack and internal tools
Write well-documented, maintainable code in Ruby
Enhance CI/CD practices for safe deployment
Act as a technical thought partner for complex projects

Requirements:

Experience coding in Ruby or similar languages
Proven ability with Workato automation solutions
Strong integration skills with Workday's API
Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS
Excellent problem-solving skills in tech architecture
