Divestment Clerk - Contract - 19214

About The Opportunity

Public Sector client is seeking a Divestment Clerk to support the coordination and management of Logistics Army vehicle divestments in Petawawa. This role is a critical part of ensuring an orderly, efficient process for the disposal and sale of vehicles through GC Surplus.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate with various units and services
• Conduct phone conversations with prospective buyers and provide accurate information on saleable vehicles
• Deliver strong customer service and maintain positive client relations
• Take clear and accurate photos of each vehicle for online viewing through GC Surplus
• Maintain an electronic Excel spreadsheet to manage the divested fleet, tracking status, sales, auction vehicles, salvage, or museum allocations
• Conduct visits with potential purchasers upon request and provide escorts for vehicle viewings
• Maintain electronic and hard copy documentation for each divested vehicle
• Upload photos and documentation to GC Surplus for each auction or salvage vehicle
• Coordinate inspection teams for unit vehicles prior to acceptance for divestment
• Ensure sufficient space allocation and plan short- and medium-term vehicle divestments
• Liaise with GC Surplus and other stakeholders to support a smooth, successive divestment process
• Provide clerical support and liaise with unit points of contact and external agencies for data collection, vehicle sales, and inputs for management analysis
• Support the Divestment Project Manager in divestment activities, with potential growth across Ontario

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Strong coordination and planning skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Excel for fleet management tracking
• Experience in documentation management, both electronic and hard copy
• Ability to work independently and liaise with multiple stakeholders
• Valid Ontario or 404 Driving License
• Must possess a valid security clearance at a level of Secret Level II
• Clerical and organizational skills relevant to managing divestment processes
