We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team as Director - Product Management, Fraud at Equifax Canada.

Overview

This role will be pivotal in managing multiple products and capabilities within our Fraud Product Portfolio. The successful candidate will drive product strategy, development and go‑to‑market execution, ensuring our offerings meet market demands and contribute to our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Fraud Products portfolio aligning with Equifax Canada’s overall business objectives.
  • Market Research & Analysis: conduct in‑depth market research, competitive analysis and customer segmentation to identify new opportunities and inform product development.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and definition through development, launch and post‑launch performance monitoring.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, legal and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and market adoption.
  • Requirements Definition: translate business requirements and customer needs into detailed product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go‑to‑market strategies, including pricing, positioning and promotional activities.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: communicate product vision, strategy and progress to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team Leadership: mentor and guide junior product team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of product management experience with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing Fraud‑related products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Robust ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable product plans.
  • Solid understanding of data, analytics and cloud technologies and the ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive results.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
