Fulton is looking for a warm, professional, and highly organized experienced

Receptionist to join our team. This is a key role that serves as the face of Fulton. As the first point of contact for our firm, you play a vital role in shaping the experience of our clients, lawyers, and staff, making every interaction count.

This is more than a front desk role, it is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, create a positive first impression, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day flow of a collaborative professional environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate the phones, answer incoming calls and directing calls and voicemails to the appropriate party. Addressing inquiries via email with professionalism and courtesy
  • Setting up and cleaning boardrooms before and after meetings and events
  • Sort mail and coordinate with courier services for document delivery and pickup
  • Liaise with Lawyers, Students, and Staff and assist with billing and correspondence when needed
  • Maintain and update the attendance and holiday records for both Kamloops and Vancouver offices
  • Primary contact for the Security system, responsible for enrolling new lawyers and staff
  • Liaison for janitors and property management
  • Process client payments in person and over the phone
  • Assist with scanning when needed
  • Shop for miscellaneous supplies
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of the reception area
  • Keep reception supplies stocked and worksheets up to date
  • Providing holiday relief on Fridays as needed
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required

What We Are Looking For

  • A natural ability to connect with people and deliver exceptional service
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • A proactive, dependable approach and a sense of ownership in your role
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, with experience using MS Teams considered an asset
  • The ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • A positive, flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving tasks
  • 3–5 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role

  • Competitive compensation: The salary range for this role is $40,000 – $50,000 per annum. Within this range, individual pay is determined by market rates, job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees

HOURS OF WORK

This position is Monday to Thursday starting at 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This is a 8-hour paid day, 32-hour work week. This is an in-office position.
