Senior Underground Mining Engineer

Lead underground mining studies and designs for BBA from Quebec locations, applying advanced engineering, planning, and project management expertise. Support clients across Canada and internationally.As a senior mining engineer, you will deliver consulting services across scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design, and NI 43-101 reports. The work combines technical practice, multidisciplinary coordination, business development, and established client relationships. You will contribute to projects involving base and precious metals mining.Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and design services for underground mine studiesCoordinate multidisciplinary mining engineering projects and assignmentsDesign mine infrastructure, ventilation, backfill, and mining servicesPrepare equipment specifications and capital and operating estimatesManage technical, people, commercial, and project risksRequirements:
Mining or geological engineering degree from a recognized universityAt least 20 years of underground mining experienceProficiency with Deswik, Datamine, Vulcan, Surpac, or MinesightProfessional association membership or eligibility for engineersAdvanced English and French communication skillsBring underground mining expertise, technical leadership, client development, and project management skills to BBA’s growing team.
