Assessor, Lloydminster Based

Duties include:
-    Conducting in-person assessments with individuals in their homes or public locations. In limited circumstances, assessments may be virtually or by phone.
-    Travel is required, including occasional overnight stays, within defined regions of the province.
-    Recording information obtained during the assessment process in an electronic data management system.
-    Analyzing/reviewing information for correctness and ensuring the consistent and equitable application of the assessment tool.
-    Providing project reporting and information as requested (verbal, paper, electronic), such as statistics, status updates, scheduling information, challenges, etc. to Senior Supervisor, management, and Ministry staff as required.
-    Ongoing communication with Senior Supervisor and Administrator, as well as other Assessors in carrying out of responsibilities.
-    Developing, scheduling, and coordinating daily workflow within specified timeframes.
-       Liaising with other community organizations or support persons as needed.
-    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
-    Degree in Human Services.

Experience:
-    Minimum of two years related assessment work experience.

Skills:
-    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-    In depth understanding of disability issues including conducting assessments (disability, impact, functional, vocational).
-    Computer proficiency, including excellent typing skills.
-    Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License and use of personal vehicle.
