Lead Mechanical Engineer Mining Epcm

Lead mining and industrial mechanical engineering for WSP across Canada, applying piping expertise to complex EPCM projects. Work from any Canadian WSP office, ideally eastern Canada.As Lead Mechanical Engineer in WSP’s Resources subsector, you will guide multidisciplinary delivery from conceptual studies through construction support. You will apply ASME, API, and TEMA standards while developing reliable systems. The work includes piping, rotating equipment, vessels, and bulk material handling.Key Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical and piping engineering packages across project phasesReview layouts, isometrics, bills of materials, and fabrication deliverablesSelect rotating equipment using lifecycle and performance criteriaOversee vessels, exchangers, tanks, chutes, bins, and conveyorsDevelop inspection plans, testing requirements, and technical evaluationsRequirements:
At least 12 years’ senior mechanical engineering experienceExperience leading industrial or mining EPCM projectsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringRegistered or eligible for Canadian Professional Engineer registrationKnowledge of piping materials, fabrication, and construction practicesBring senior mechanical leadership, piping knowledge, and EPCM delivery experience to WSP Resources projects across Canada.
