Prospect Health are delighted to be working with a leading and rapidly expanding healthcare provider in Canada to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist for clinics based in Ontario.

The Opportunity You will join a multidisciplinary clinical team providing comprehensive psychiatric care across a diverse patient population. The organisation operates a large network of outpatient clinics across Canada, supporting thousands of healthcare professionals and delivering accessible, community-based care with a strong emphasis on innovation and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, including pharmacological and therapeutic interventions
Provide ongoing psychiatric care and follow-up for patients
Work collaboratively with family physicians, psychologists, and allied health professionals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards
Option to develop specialist interests (e.g. addiction, ADHD, mood disorders, or psychotherapy)

Candidate Requirements Specialist qualification in Psychiatry
Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
Experience in outpatient or community psychiatry preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient‑centered care skills
