Senior MedTech Reliability Engineer Ottawa

Drive product reliability in the IVD industry as a Senior MedTech Reliability Engineer with a premier firm in Ottawa, Ontario. This role emphasizes testing and analysis with a focus on strategic implementation of reliability requirements. This senior position demands a minimum of 10 years of experience in MedTech reliability engineering. You'll be responsible for leading reliability efforts and implementing test strategies that enhance product dependability. Collaboration with R&D and QA teams will ensure compliance with ISO and FDA standards while you conduct crucial design reviews. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement reliability requirements and robust testing strategies
• Lead DFMEA and risk assessments for reliability
• Execute and analyze HALT, HASS, and ALT tests
• Perform life data analysis using Weibull and lognormal techniques
• Conduct root cause analyses, supporting FRACAS activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in reliability engineering
• Expertise in HALT/HASS/ALT and DFMEA methodologies
• Proficient in Minitab or JMP software
• Familiarity with Python or MATLAB preferred
