Enterprise Data Platform Operations Manager

Drive enterprise data platform reliability, monitoring, and operational standards at CI Financial through an in-office schedule onsite four days weekly. Lead dependable delivery across critical data services.This Manager, Data Operations role leads engineers and developers on CI Financial’s Data, AI & Analytics team. You will oversee platform health, availability, performance, SLAs, SLOs, operational KPIs, and production controls. Collaboration includes Data Engineering, Analytics, Governance, Security, and Technology teams across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:
Establish SLAs, SLOs, and operational KPIs for data servicesEnsure availability, performance, and reliability of analytical workloadsStandardize deployment, rollback, and release management processesDrive performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planningMaintain operational runbooks, standards, and documentationRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldSeven-plus years in data engineering or platform operationsTwo-plus years in leadership or managementExperience with monitoring, alerting, and observability toolsUnderstanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirementsApply platform operations leadership, reliability practices, and enterprise governance expertise to CI Financial’s data ecosystem.
