BDC / Lease Renewal Representative

Bayfield Ford Lincoln is looking for a BDC / Lease RenewalRepresentative to add to our team in Barrie. Bayfield Ford Lincoln is proud to be a member of The Humberview Group, representing 20 dealerships and 18 automotive brands.  

The BDC / Lease Renewal Representative is responsible for generating sales and customer-retention opportunities through proactive outbound communication and timely follow-up.

This position focuses on customers approaching the end of their lease, incoming internet leads, warranty and F&I expiration opportunities, and other dealership sales initiatives.

The BDC / Lease Renewal Representative will use phone, email, text, and the dealership CRM to engage customers, identify their needs, and schedule appointments.

Compensation: $40,000 base salary plus bonus ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 a year.

What You'll Do

• Proactively contact customers approaching the end of their lease, including in-house and Ford Credit customers.
• Educate customers on their available options, including purchasing their current vehicle, leasing or financing a new Ford, or returning their vehicle.
• Schedule lease reviews, vehicle appraisals, test drives, and sales appointments.
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up throughout the lease renewal process.
• Build customer loyalty and contribute to overall dealership retention.
• Review CRM reports and dealership databases to identify customers approaching the expiration of their factory warranty, Ford Protection Plan, maintenance plan, or other F&I coverage.
• Proactively contact customers to make them aware of upcoming coverage expirations and available next steps.
• Schedule warranty review appointments with the appropriate Finance Manager or dealership representative.
• Identify customers who may be interested in trading or upgrading their vehicle before their warranty or coverage expires.
• Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, website inquiries, telephone calls, and other customer requests.
• Qualify customer needs and provide accurate information before connecting them with a Sales Representative.
• Schedule appointments for vehicle demonstrations, test drives, appraisals, lease reviews, warranty reviews, and sales consultations.
• Contact previous customers, unsold showroom traffic, and customers with potential equity in their vehicles.
• Track appointment outcomes and ensure appropriate follow-up after each customer visit.
• Confirm appointments and provide timely reminders to help improve show rates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Perform other duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous BDC, customer service, sales, automotive, or dealership experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and through digital communication.
• Confident, professional, and customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and other computer-based tools.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Motivated by achieving goals and contributing to a high-performing team.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Service, and Finance departments.
• Strong time management skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
