Medical Writer III, Oncology

Medical Writer III focused on oncology regulatory documentation within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division. The role involves writing and coordinating clinical and regulatory documents, leading cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior staff across a hybrid work model in multiple global locations.
Responsibilities
- Write and coordinate clinical and regulatory documents including CSRs, IBs, protocols, and regulatory responses
- Lead cross-functional document planning and review meetings with clinical and regulatory teams
- Function as primary lead writer on most compounds under supervision
- Coach and mentor junior medical writing staff on processes, content, and best practices
- Participate in or lead process working groups and establish document timelines
Requirements
- University degree in scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 6 years pharmaceutical/scientific industry experience with 4+ years regulatory medical writing
- Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred
- Ability to interpret and present statistical and medical information in complex documents
- Compound lead and/or submission lead experience preferred
- Proficiency in written and spoken English with global collaboration capability
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
