Nanny Wanted - Join Our Vernon, Bc Family: Seeking Experienced Nanny

We are a busy, professional family in Vernon, BC, looking for a reliable, energetic, and organized nanny/household assistant to help care for our two daughters (ages 1 and 5) while also helping keep our home running smoothly. This is a live out position. Our girls are active, curious, and full of energy, so we're looking for someone who is warm, upbeat, playful, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. We value creativity, outdoor play, reading, and hands-on activities, and we prefer to keep screen time to a minimum. Both girls attend daycare during the week, so a significant portion of the role is dedicated to household management. We're looking for someone who enjoys cleaning and takes pride in maintaining a tidy, well-organized home. Laundry is a major part of the position (washing, folding, and putting everything away), along with general housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, organizing, and staying on top of the day-to-day tasks that keep a busy household running efficiently. We appreciate someone who notices what needs to be done without needing detailed direction. Childcare responsibilities include daycare pick-up, occasional extracurricular activities, after-school care for our oldest beginning in September, and caring for one or both girls when they're home sick or on the occasional day they stay home from daycare. We're looking for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, efficient, and looking for a long-term position where they can become an important part of our family's routine. The position pays $18-20/hour depending on experience and includes a health and dental benefits plan, with 50% of the premiums covered. There is also the opportunity for additional paid hours helping clean and prepare a nearby Airbnb suite between guests if desired. We are open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement depending on the right fit. Accommodation can be provided in a private, newly built bachelor suite located off-site.
