TEMPORARY ROLE - 6 MONTHS

Your role

The Plant Financial Analyst plays a key role within the local finance team. You will be responsible for analyzing operational performance, producing reliable financial reports, and supporting production teams in their daily decision‑making. Your work will directly contribute to the plant’s efficiency, profitability, and growth.

The position may be based at our Saint-Hyacinthe plant or at our downtown Montréal office.

What you will accomplish daily

• Produce and analyze monthly financial reports in collaboration with operational teams
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, costs, and losses
• Identify variances, explain fluctuations, and recommend corrective actions
• Analyze production costs, plant losses, and raw material consumption trends
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to gather required data
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and accounting policies
• Participate in the month‑end closing process and prepare accounting entries

What you need to join our team

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with SAP (strong asset)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and data‑simplification skills
• Bilingualism (interactions with various internal and external stakeholders across Canada)
